First of all, go to Settings. Choose Data and use storage. Now Scroll down to auto-download. Choose Media. Uncheck photos and videos from the dialog box when using mobile data. (Note: you can also uncheck the Audio and Documents option from there). Click the OK button. Now repeat the same for Wi-Fi and roaming options.
First of all open WhatsApp on your Apple iPhone handset. Now go to Settings. Then choose Data and Storage Usage option. Now Scroll down to MEDIA AUTO – DOWNLOADClick Photos and select Never option to stop downloading photos automatically. Now repeat the same option for Audio, Videos, and Documents if you want to stop auto-downloading. That’s it.
