NADRA Introduces Doorstep Service to Handicapped and Elderly People

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced the new countrywide service for the handicapped and ill people. They will be providing the doorstep service to all the registered people who are physically sick and handicapped.

In the past, NADRA was massively criticized for offering the doorstep services to just the influential people. But now, this concept has been completely changed and the NADRA is offering this service to the handicapped and ill people. This service will be given away to all those people who need it.

During this whole service process, the team of NADR will be equipped with the services of biometric machines as well. They will be visiting all of their applicants who have been registered at their doorstep. They will also be offering the service of delivering computerized national identity cards (CNICs) straight away at their homes.

While interacting with the media, one of the senior officials of NADRA state that this project idea was given by Prime Minister Imran Khan, according to this project vision, he wanted to provide the best and relaxing services to the ill and older people of society and bring an improvement in the community.

Main Purpose

The main reason to start this project is to serve the bedridden people of the society who are physically and mentally not stable. This will also include all those people who are mentally challenged and are old.

The home registration process has been started all through the supervision of ManPack mobile units, which is facilitating all those old age people of society who are not able to visit the Nadra Offices for their CNIC service.

How to Register?

If you want to register yourself and avail of this service opportunity, then you have to apply by visiting the main NADRA office in your region or the zonal center offices. The whole process of the system working will be carried out according to the current policy of the registration.

Well, this is a good initiative by the Government which has been introduced for serving the best facilities for the handicapped and old age group of people.  This initiative will be giving a significant benefit to so many old age groups of people who cannot make their way to visit the office centers of NADRA for their CNIC issues.
