Tania Aidrus Resigns From Her Job to Lead PM Imran Khan Digital Pakistan Initiative

Tania Aidrus, one of the top Google Senior Executive has stepped down from her job position at the tech large Google Singapore and moves to Pakistan to lead the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Digital Pakistan initiative. She has arrived in Pakistan from Singapore to offer her carrier to the country’s digitalization Digital Pakistan program.

Prime Minister Khan will inaugurate the digitalization initiative titled Digital Pakistan this evening. The inauguration ceremony will be held at the Prime Minister Office in Islamabad. Under the program, correspondence between authorities departments will be executed via digital channels as an alternative of paper.

While expressing his feelings about this Initiative she appreciates the efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan for digital Pakistan visions in her recent tweet.


The prime minister had assigned the venture of growing the program to the Federal Ministry of Information and Technology in August. It completed the assignment within the stipulated time of three months.
